

This is a 13 week certificate course aimed at students who wish to pursue a career in the Hospitality Industry. Classes are kept to a maximum of ten students and are held each morning from 8h30 – 12h00. Subjects covered include knife skills, cooking methods, kitchen organisation, meats, fish, eggs, pasta making, bread making, sauces, pastry & baking. Cake icing is an optional extra.

BEGINNER'S DOMESTIC COOKING COURSE
Pru Mthembu teaches beginner’s cooking classes in Zulu and English. Her students return each year to gain valuable ideas and recipes, sourced by Pru.
Classes are held every Thursday morning at 9h00 followed by a lunch of the meals cooked! The course is six weeks in duration.

EVENING COOKERY CLASSES
Margie is only too happy to share hints, tips and recipes that are sure to make you a hostess with the most-ess!
“Students” cook in pairs in a very relaxed environment –the emphasis being on enjoyment of cooking and classes. After cooking your own 3 course dinner, sit down with your friends and enjoy the fruits of your labour!
Classes begin at 18h30 and finish off at approximately 21h30.
Perfect for team building/book clubs/corporate groups…or just plain fun….
